I would like to introduce you to Stellah above.  Doesn't she have the sweetest smile?  Last week, I received word that little Stellah's mother has passed away.  The family is heartbroken and the smile is gone from her face.  The family was struggling for a while because the mother had been sick for a long time.  Now, without her, they are lost.  This family of 5 children is now being raised by their father.  Stellah is the only one who is sponsored, and the father is unable to work due to illness.  This family needs a lot of help.  Sponsors for the other 4 children would be wonderful as this is their only opportunity to go to school.  Stellah's brother Willard is in the photo above.  There are 3 children that have not been enrolled in the program.  However, if we have sponsor interest, we can get them enrolled the next time the team is out in the field.  Here are her siblings:

Kelvin(Brother),Fizwell(Brother),Willard(Brother) and Precious(Sister)

Additionally, if you would like to provide the family with anything to show your support, whatever it may be, that would be wonderful as well.  To sponsor one of Stellah's 4 siblings or to help the family in some other way, send an e-mail to macandmic@gmail.com

  1. If anyone wants a couple of us are going to put together some funds for food items at this next distribution, so if you can not afford to sponsor a sibling but would like to contribute for the food items, please let me know.. and we can figure out how to best utilize the funds. I would prefer to see the other children sponsored more than anything, but beggars can not be choosy and I want to see her family get as much assistance as possible
