As you know, in the poorest of areas, toilets are a luxury! The lack of toilets and sanitary facilities leads to the spread of diseases and leaves the already weak children extremely vulnerable. It is because of this that Child Hope Zambia has set up pit latrines like the one shown above in the communities where our sponsor children live. Not only does this help stop the spread of disease, but it, also, provides much needed privacy for vulnerable women and children.
