Namwiinga is one of our highest at risk secondary girls. She is 17 years old and in the 9th grade. She will be turning 18 in July. While she would like to be a nurse, chances are she will not be able to pursue her dream. She lives with her grandparents who will not be able to pay her tuition to go on to senior secondary.
In her letter to her potential sponsor, she writes that there are 25 people that live near her home. In her village, she sees monkeys, goats, pigs, cattle, and sheep. In 9th grade, she is taking English (her favorite subject), Math, History, Tonga, Civics, Art, Geography, Science, and Religious Education.
