We had a mediocre turn out for Winter Medical Exams. About 1/2 of the children scheduled to be checked did not attend (62 children were scheduled and of those 62, only 32 children attended the event). The CHILDHOPE-ZAMBIA team found that many of them stayed home because of the threat of rain. Even though it never rained, they were afraid to get to the check point and get stuck there. The second reason that not many showed up was because they were so tired from the day before of distribution. We had an extremely large distribution this month, so it took longer than usual. At any rate, the children who were not check this time will be checked when the team goes back to Mazabuka. In the meantime, here is the list of children that did get examined this time around:
