Mrs. Mweemba Fighting for her Grandkids' Survival

Chim asked the older woman what her name was, how many children she looks after. The lady Chim was speaking to is Mrs. Mweemba. She says she looks after 6 children. She finds it difficult to take the children to school because she cannot manage to buy the uniforms, pay for school fees and buy books. She said one of the children is not in school due to lack of funds. She said she has been suffering from backache for a long time now. This has limited her capacity to fend for the children. Of the 6 children she looks after, 4 are orphans .She hopes that sponsors will help her keep her grandchildren in school, and to get the child that is not in school enrolled. She knows that an education is the way out of poverty, but she is only scraping by and can't afford the luxury of school for her grandchildren.
To sponsor one or more of her grandchildren, send an e-mail to macandmic@gmail.com
