Just a few fathers and volunteers
The food was well-received at distribution. We raised $130, and so we were able to feed everyone a small meal of nshima and beef stew. As most of you know, the food is for the sponsored children who attend the distribution and, also, for their families. There are volunteers who help in distribution such as the cooks and others who sort out the children and what they are receiving. These adults were fed as well. Wish I could have been there to join in on the sharing and camaraderie! As you can see, most are sharing their bowl of food, as is the custom. I find this especially intriguing knowing that most do not have regular meals, yet they still lovingly share their bowl with family and friends!! Wow! Talk about some amazing people!
