The boy in the video is saying he is Simon Hamooya doing grade 7 at Simwaba basic. He is going into grade 8 this month. He says he appreciates the help that has been given to him so far because he has received things to improve his life- educational materials, uniform, and many other things. I asked him what life would be like without the sponsor's support. He told me that without the sponsor's support, he would not have the necessary education support to enable him attend school. His family can not afford the school fees and other things that he needs to get an education. He said that having this support would be important because when he is educated, he will be able to help feed his family thereby reducing poverty. He said when educated he will be able to get a job and assist his family members.

Simon really needs a sponsor that can keep up with their commitment as he will not be able to attend school otherwise. He had a sponsor, but the sponsor only paid 2 months of fees.
