New Laptop and Hard Drive

As most of you already know, the Lusaka office was burglarized last year.  The thieves took the laptop along with all of the photos and information that was in the laptop.  This was devastating!  It definitely made the work we do more difficult because we (in the US) did not have access with the team in Zambia 24/7 like we usually do.  And the employees in Zambia, had to go back and forth to the Internet cafe during open hours.  Why someone would want to take something from a group as dedicated to helping the people of Zambia like CHILDHOPE is- It is inconceivable.

At any rate, we got a few dedicated donors and within a couple of months, there were enough funds to purchase a used laptop and hard drive!  The laptop and hard drive are now being used, and this is the e-mail I received from Chim Mvula in the Lusaka, Zambia office today:
"I am so excited!  The laptop and the external hard drive have been purchased.  May God bless and add more to the donors who funded the purchase of these gadgets. Right now I am using the same to communicate with you.  God bless you all!  Regards, Chim"
